The three begin talking, and a beautiful friendship starts.

Homework sessions...
Cookie baking...
Soccer games...
Movie nights...
Laughter slowly replaces loneliness.
LILY
"I wish you lived with us forever."
AMBER
"That would make me very happy too."
Scene 4 – The Proposal
EXT. LAKESIDE – SUNSET
DAVE
"You've brought happiness back into our lives. Will you marry me?"
AMBER
"Yes... with all my heart."
Lily jumps with excitement as Dave places the ring on Amber's finger.
Scene 5 – Wedding Day
INT. CHAPEL – DAY
Amber walks down the aisle while Lily proudly throws flower petals.
OFFICIANT
"Love is not about the past. It's about choosing each other every day."
Dave and Amber exchange vows and become husband and wife.
Scene 6 – The Emotional Speech
INT. WEDDING RECEPTION – NIGHT
LILY
"When my mommy died, I thought I'd never have another mom. But you never tried to replace her... you simply loved me."
"You helped me with homework... hugged me when I cried... and made me smile again."
"Can I finally call you Mom?"
AMBER
"You can call me Mom every day for the rest of our lives."
The guests stand and applaud as Dave, Amber, and Lily embrace in tears.
