Kyra Faces Isaiah’s Father
1. The Unexpected Confrontation
The tension was already heavy when Isaiah’s father arrived. He walked in with a serious expression, clearly convinced that he had finally figured out who was responsible for the growing distance between Isaiah and Brooke.
Kyra stood nearby, listening carefully as he began talking about Isaiah’s troubled relationship. At first, she remained quiet, hoping the conversation would stay calm. But the moment he started pointing fingers at her, her expression changed.

“You don't get to walk in here and act like I created all of this,” Kyra said. “You need to understand what actually happened before you start blaming me.”
Isaiah’s father stared at her, apparently surprised that she had challenged him so directly.
3. “Where Have You Been, Sir?”
Kyra took a breath before delivering the point she had clearly been holding inside for a long time.
“You've been absent from Isaiah’s life for eighteen years.”
Her words hit harder than any shout could have.
“You weren't there for all those years,” Kyra continued. “So you can't suddenly show up now and decide that you know exactly what Isaiah needs.”
Then she shook her head and added the line that left the room completely still.
“Boots on the ground in the name of love—where have you been, sir?”
Isaiah’s father opened his mouth, but no immediate response came.
Kyra wasn't finished.
4. Isaiah Is Grown Now
Kyra reminded him that Isaiah was no longer a child waiting for someone else to make every decision for him.
“Isaiah is grown,” she said. “He has his own mind. He has his own feelings. And he has the right to make decisions about his own life.”
She explained that whatever choices Isaiah made regarding Brooke, Kyra, or his future were ultimately his responsibility.
“You can't disappear for eighteen years and then come back expecting to control everything,” she said. “That's not how this works.”
For the first time, Isaiah’s father seemed to realize that his authority over his adult son was not what he imagined it would be.
5. Kyra Draws the Line
Kyra stepped closer, making it clear that this was no longer just a disagreement.
“You need to stop interfering in my life and Isaiah’s life,” she told him. “Whatever relationship you want with your son, that's between you and him. But you are not going to come into our lives and start controlling everything.”
She paused before delivering an even stronger warning.
“And honestly, I don't want you around Isaiah anymore.”
The words stunned him.
Kyra knew it was a serious statement, but she wanted him to understand how deeply his sudden involvement had affected everyone.
6. The Silence After Her Warning
Isaiah’s father stood completely still.
He had arrived expecting Kyra to defend herself, perhaps apologize, or even become emotional. Instead, she had confronted him with questions he clearly wasn't prepared to answer.
For several seconds, nobody spoke.
Kyra watched him carefully, waiting for another argument.
But something unexpected happened.
His anger disappeared.
His face became tense, and his eyes dropped toward the floor. He seemed to be thinking about every word Kyra had just said.

But before he pressed the button, he looked at Kyra one final time—and the expression on his face suggested that whatever he was about to tell Isaiah could change everything.
