Dawn's Second Attack — The Story of Cadrick and Libby
A dramatic story of fear, jealousy, protection, and an unexpected confrontation
After being injured by Dawn during a heated confrontation, Cadrick was taken to the hospital for treatment. The injury to his head was serious enough to require immediate medical attention, and doctors carefully cleaned the wound before wrapping a thick bandage around his head. Although Cadrick remained conscious, he was clearly exhausted and in considerable discomfort.
Throughout his stay at the hospital, Libby refused to leave his side for long. She remained nearby, checking on him and making sure that he had everything he needed. She was deeply worried about his condition and felt responsible for helping him through the difficult situation. Every time Cadrick opened his eyes, Libby was there, quietly reassuring him that everything would be all right.
After several hours of observation and treatment, the doctors decided that Cadrick was stable enough to leave the hospital. They gave him instructions to rest, avoid strenuous activity, and return immediately if his symptoms became worse. Cadrick nodded, grateful that the worst seemed to be over.
Libby carefully helped him out of the hospital and drove him home. She knew he was still weak, so she made sure he moved slowly and safely. When they arrived, she helped him settle onto the comfortable sofa in the living room. The bandage around his head was still clearly visible, reminding them both of what had happened earlier.
For the first time in a while, the house felt peaceful. Cadrick leaned back against the sofa while Libby sat beside him. She asked how he was feeling and whether the pain had become any better. Cadrick told her that he was tired, but he felt safer now that he was home.
The two began talking calmly about everything that had happened. Libby tried to keep the conversation light, hoping to take Cadrick's mind off his injury. Cadrick even managed a small smile as they talked. Neither of them realized that the peaceful atmosphere would soon disappear.
Suddenly, a quiet movement came from the back of the house. Neither Cadrick nor Libby noticed it at first. Then Dawn appeared, moving into the room with an angry expression on her face. In her hand was another frying pan.
Her eyes were fixed on Libby. The jealousy and anger that had been building inside her seemed to have completely taken control. Dawn slowly raised the frying pan as if she intended to frighten or attack Libby. The peaceful conversation instantly turned into a dangerous confrontation.
Just as Dawn prepared to move forward, Libby suddenly sensed something behind her. She turned around and froze. Her eyes widened when she saw Dawn standing there with the frying pan raised in her hand.
Dawn stopped for a moment. She did not lower the frying pan, however. Her expression remained tense and furious. Libby instinctively moved closer to Cadrick, trying to put some distance between herself and Dawn.
Cadrick heard Libby's scream and immediately turned toward the threat. Despite his injury and the pain in his head, he tried to get up from the sofa. He knew he was not in a condition to fight, but he could not simply sit there while Libby was being threatened.
He moved forward and placed himself between Dawn and Libby. Libby stood behind him, frightened and uncertain about what Dawn might do next. Cadrick raised one hand, signaling Dawn to stop, while trying not to make any sudden movement that could worsen his injury.
The room suddenly became filled with tension. Dawn stared angrily at Libby, while Libby remained close to Cadrick for protection. The situation had become far more serious than a simple argument. Dawn's jealousy had pushed her beyond ordinary anger, and everyone could now see how dangerous the situation had become.
Cadrick was still recovering from his injury, yet he was willing to put himself between the two women to prevent another attack. Libby was terrified, but she also realized that remaining calm was important. She quietly asked Dawn to put the frying pan down and leave.
For a moment, nobody moved. Dawn stood frozen with the frying pan in her hand, Cadrick remained between them, and Libby watched anxiously. The silence felt heavier than any argument.
What had started as jealousy had now turned into a frightening situation that could no longer be ignored. Cadrick and Libby both understood that something had to change before someone was seriously hurt again. Dawn's uncontrolled jealousy had crossed a dangerous line, leaving everyone wondering what would happen next.
