Terry's Last Hope: Natasha Says No
When Terry runs out of options, he turns to the one person who refuses to save him.
After spending a frustrating amount of time at the police station, Terry finally realizes that none of his arguments are working. He has tried explaining the situation, defending his wife, and insisting that the police are making a mistake. But the officers remain focused on the facts of the case. They are not impressed by Terry's confidence, his demands, or the way he keeps insisting that everything will be fine.
With every minute that passes, Terry becomes more anxious. His wife is still being held, and he knows that he needs someone who understands the legal system. The problem is that the one person he thinks can help him is someone he already pushed away.
Unable to get anywhere at the police station, Terry leaves and heads straight to Natasha's office. He walks in with urgency, hoping that she will forget everything that happened between them and agree to represent his wife.
When Natasha sees Terry standing in front of her again, she is immediately surprised. Her expression quickly changes from confusion to frustration. She already made her decision about working with Terry, and she cannot believe he has returned asking for another favor.
Terry speaks with desperation. At this point, he is no longer trying to look powerful. He simply wants someone to take his side.
Natasha does not soften. Instead, she reminds Terry that their professional relationship is already over. She cannot understand why he believes she would suddenly change her mind after everything that happened.
Then Natasha brings up the most serious issue of all: the accusation involving Keke. She points out that Terry's wife is accused of taking his own daughter, even though Keke is her stepdaughter. Natasha makes it clear that being a stepmother does not make the accusation less serious.
Terry immediately pushes back. He refuses to accept that his wife could be guilty and insists that there must be another explanation.
Terry tells Natasha that she is judging his wife too quickly. He argues that the situation is being misunderstood and that the police do not have the full story. He asks Natasha to look at the evidence herself and help prove that his wife did not intend to harm Keke.
But Natasha has heard enough. She does not want to become involved in a case that she believes could create even more problems. She also remembers Terry's previous behavior and the disrespect he showed toward her when she was trying to help him.
For Natasha, this is not simply about one case. It is about boundaries. She has already walked away from Terry professionally, and she refuses to let his latest emergency pull her back into the chaos.
Terry continues asking for help, but Natasha finally becomes firm. She tells him that she will not take the case. There will be no second chance, no last-minute agreement, and no exception simply because Terry is desperate.
Terry looks stunned. He came to Natasha expecting her to be his final lifeline, but instead he finds a closed door. His confidence disappears as he realizes that he cannot pressure her into changing her mind.
When Terry refuses to accept the answer, Natasha decides that the conversation has gone far enough. She contacts security and asks for assistance. Moments later, an officer arrives at the office and approaches Terry calmly.
Terry tries one more time to explain himself. He turns toward Natasha and reaches out, asking her to reconsider. But Natasha points toward the exit and makes it clear that she wants him gone.
The officer takes hold of Terry's arm and begins guiding him toward the door. Terry keeps looking back at Natasha, hoping she will change her mind at the last second. She does not.
As he is escorted away, Terry realizes that his usual attitude cannot solve this problem. The person he believed would always be there for him has finally drawn a line. Natasha watches as he leaves, knowing that she has protected her own boundaries.
Meanwhile, Terry still has to face the original problem: his wife remains under investigation, and he has no lawyer willing to step in at the last minute.
The biggest question now is what Terry will do next. Will he finally accept that his actions have consequences, or will he search for another way to get his wife out of trouble?
