SHOCKING DISCOVERY

INT. DAVE'S APARTMENT – LATE AFTERNOON

Golden sunlight pours through the windows. Anthony enters the apartment, expecting a quiet afternoon. Instead, he hears voices coming from another room.

ANTHONY

Dave?... Amber?... Are you guys home?

No one answers. Anthony slowly walks toward the hallway. As he reaches the doorway, he suddenly freezes in complete shock. Dave and Amber quickly turn toward him after realizing he has entered.

ANTHONY

(shouting) Amber!

Amber's expression changes instantly from calm to panic. Dave stands speechless. A heavy silence fills the room.

AMBER

Anthony... Please... It's not what you think.

ANTHONY

Don't. Just don't. I trusted both of you.

Anthony takes a slow step backward. His disappointment is written across his face. Neither Dave nor Amber can find the words to explain. Without saying anything else, Anthony turns toward the front door and walks away. The door closes behind him. Silence remains.
