The Podcast Door Opens
1. The Recording Begins
The podcast studio was buzzing with energy as the cameras rolled. Bright studio lights illuminated the room, while several microphones stood carefully positioned around the table. Imaan sat across from Kountry, trying to appear confident even though he knew Delicia had strongly warned him against coming.
Shayla sat beside them, composed but noticeably cautious. Kountry smiled toward the camera and introduced the episode, keeping his voice relaxed and professional.
“Today, we’re talking about success, money, trust, and what happens when people around you don’t always agree with your decisions,” Kountry said.
Imaan nodded and leaned toward his microphone. For a moment, everything seemed normal. The cameras continued recording, and Shayla quietly listened.
2. The Warning Imaan Ignored
Despite the calm atmosphere, Imaan couldn't forget Delicia's warning. She had looked him directly in the eyes earlier and told him not to participate in the podcast.
Delicia believed Kountry and Shayla were interested in Imaan because of his money. She had repeatedly insisted that he was being manipulated, but Imaan had refused to listen.
Now, sitting under the studio lights, he tried to push those concerns aside.
“Sometimes you have to make your own decisions,” Imaan said during the recording.
Shayla glanced at him briefly. Her expression suggested that she understood exactly what he meant.
3. The Door Suddenly Opens
Then came a sudden sound from behind them.
The podcast-room door opened.
Everyone turned.
Delicia stood in the doorway.
For several seconds, she didn't say a word. Her eyes moved from Imaan to Kountry and then to Shayla. The sight seemed to confirm every suspicion she had carried with her.
Her shocked expression slowly changed. Her eyes narrowed, and her face became tense with anger.
The room immediately fell silent.
Even Kountry stopped speaking.
4. Delicia Confronts Imaan
Delicia stepped inside and stared directly at Imaan.
“This is because of your stubbornness!” she exclaimed.
Imaan immediately sat upright, clearly surprised by her sudden arrival.
“Delicia, what are you doing here?” he asked.
She ignored the question.
“I told you not to do a podcast with these two. They're only after your money, and nothing else!”
The words echoed through the studio.
Shayla looked uncomfortable but remained composed. She lowered her eyes for a moment, refusing to turn the situation into an even bigger argument.
5. Imaan Refuses to Back Down
Imaan's surprise quickly turned into defensiveness. He looked toward the cameras and then back at Delicia.
“You can't just walk in here and accuse everyone of using me,” he said.
Delicia shook her head.
“I warned you. You didn't listen.”
Kountry slowly raised his hands, attempting to calm everyone down.
“Let's all take a breath. This is a podcast, not a fight,” Kountry said.
But Delicia wasn't convinced. She pointed toward the recording equipment.
“Then stop the cameras and prove that I'm wrong.”
6. The Cameras Keep Rolling
Nobody moved.
The red recording light remained on.
That tiny light suddenly felt more important than anything else in the room.
Shayla finally looked toward Imaan and quietly said, “Maybe we should pause the recording.”
Imaan hesitated.
Kountry looked at the monitor, realizing that the unexpected confrontation was being captured on camera.
Delicia noticed the same thing.
Her expression changed again.
Instead of leaving, she stepped closer to the table.
7. What Will Imaan Discover?
Delicia leaned toward Imaan and lowered her voice.
“You think I'm trying to control you,” she said. “But there is something you don't know.”
Imaan stared at her.
“What don't I know?” he asked.
Delicia looked toward Shayla, then slowly toward Kountry.
The room became completely silent.
She reached into her bag and pulled out her phone.
“Before this episode goes any further, you need to see who contacted me—and what they told me about this podcast.”
Imaan's face changed instantly as Delicia turned the phone toward him. The cameras were still recording... and whatever was on that screen could change everything.
