YaYa & Wayne: The Words He Had Used Before
1. A Night That Changed Everything
YaYa had no idea that an ordinary evening with her friends would become the beginning of a relationship she would eventually take very seriously. She was sitting at a beautifully decorated restaurant table surrounded by several female friends. Soft lighting filled the room while music played quietly in the background.
YaYa looked confident, stylish, and completely comfortable. She laughed freely with her friends, enjoying the evening without worrying about relationships or what might happen next.
She had no reason to believe that someone was about to notice her from across the room.
Wayne happened to walk through the restaurant with one of his male friends. While passing the tables, he suddenly noticed YaYa. His attention immediately shifted toward her table.
He slowed his steps, looked again, and smiled.
Instead of continuing toward the other side of the restaurant, Wayne confidently changed direction and walked toward YaYa and her friends.
2. “I’m Wayne.”
When Wayne reached the table, YaYa and her friends looked up. There was a brief moment of curiosity before Wayne introduced himself with a confident smile.
The introduction immediately broke the tension. YaYa's friends welcomed the conversation, and within moments the atmosphere became playful.
Wayne spoke casually, making jokes and interacting with everyone at the table. The women laughed, and YaYa began smiling more as the conversation continued.
Eventually, Wayne turned his attention directly toward YaYa.
YaYa smiled before telling him her name. Wayne seemed pleased that the conversation had gone so smoothly.
Then came the next question.
YaYa laughed and decided to playfully turn the question around.

YaYa's friends immediately understood what was happening. Their smiles became wider, and they began teasing her.
Everyone at the table laughed.
Wayne smiled confidently, clearly enjoying the attention. He exchanged his number with YaYa and continued talking with the group for a few more moments.
Eventually, Wayne returned to his friend and prepared to leave the restaurant.
But even after walking away, he continued looking back toward YaYa.
YaYa noticed.

Wayne continued treating YaYa as though she was different from everyone before her.

And the biggest question remains unanswered:
YaYa still doesn't know.
She is smiling.
Wayne is smiling too.
